If you've a hole or two in your gear, think about adding adhesive patches to your rep kit. These patches are made of an ultra-high-performance adhesive that is applied to a rugged polyurethane backing that allows a tear to recover under pressure. The patches are available in color or clear versions. They provide durability against punctures as well as sunlight, water saltwater, temperature extremes and.
If your kit doesn't contain any of the above items, you might want to consider adding a bag with waterproof Aquaseal wader repair sealant. Use the tube-scuffer tool to roughen up the surface. This will help the glue stick. Then, spread a thin layer of glue over the patch that covers an area at least as large as the patch. Give it a few minutes to allow the glue to become tacky before pressing the patch into place and holding it firmly in the desired position.
