I was also happy to discover that when docked, the iRobot j7+ will automatically empty its dust bin and put it into Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal. This is a huge improvement over most competitors which require you to open manually and empty the dust bin. This small change will save you time and frustration.

The mops have the same power as its vacuums and has a more attractive design than Roomba. Although it lacks the remote control, its smart capabilities will make up for the lack of one. With the app, you can easily start and stop a cleaning cycle. You can also schedule it, and change the settings of your device.
4. Shark ION Extended
Shark's top-of-the-line self-emptying robotic vacuum The ION XL is an excellent choice for people looking for hands-free cleaning that has an outstanding level of performance. The vacuum comes with a large bin that can hold a month's worth dirt. It can be set to empty the bin at the end of each cleaning session to ensure long-term storage. The ION XL is one of the best robot vacuums on the market for both carpets and hard floors, and it can also sweep and mop your floors. You can control the robot via an app or voice commands and you can even create the map of your house to clean every room on demand. The robot can also navigate around furniture and navigate stairs and carpeted rooms with ease.
I tested the IONXL using our standard debris test in a family room as well as a kitchen with hardwood flooring and area rug. It did an excellent job vacuuming and removing debris, pet hair, and even some of the more stubborn carpet crumbs. It was also adept at maneuvering and didn't bump into my bar stools as did the iRobot j7+ in this test. The only drawback is that the ION XL can't detect toys, cords and shoes that may be in its path which means you'll have to pre-clean your house before running this robot vacuum to stay clear of these items.
The ION XL robotic cleaner is not as intelligent as the iRobot j7+ but it's a good alternative if you don't want to spend more than $500 on a robotic. It's better than the eufy RoboVac 11S, in many ways. It's more easy to maintain and has lower monthly costs. It's also superior in vacuuming floors that are not clean and picking up pet fur, but isn't as good on low- or higher-pile carpet.
It is also not as sturdy as the Roborock S8, but it is a great option. The ION XL has a large bin capacity, and it can be controlled via an app and voice command, and it is simple to keep up with routine maintenance. It also has a reasonable price.
