The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better with future models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.
In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving on.
What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.
You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's clutter that must be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.
Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. you can try this out 's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
