This vacuum isn't afraid to tackle the stairs, unlike others. Like all mops and vacuums it is prone to clogging by objects like tennis shoes, play thread, jewelry, or other loose items.
The iRobot Home App allows you to label rooms, and even create zones that are not allowed to enter. You can also monitor the performance of your mops as well as their battery levels.
iRobot Combo j7+
The Combo J7+ is part of the mop and robot vacuum lineup that combines the robot cleaner's smart mapping capabilities with its ability to handle spills. It uses the same acoustic sensor that is onboard and iAdapt 2.0 Navigation as other Roomba models and maps your home seven times more quickly than previous versions. It also lets you set Keep Out Zones and Clean Zones to inform the robot which rooms it should avoid and when to clean them.
The robotic arm is the most significant feature of the j7. It keeps the mop pad in place when not in use, and lowers it when carpeting or hard flooring. In my testing the Combo J7+ did a great job at avoiding spraying water onto the rug. The robot backed off when it saw a rug and didn't try to go over it, even though I moved the rug around a few times.
The arm has a 240mL tank that can be easily popped out and filled, making it easier to manage than mop pads found in other 2-in-1 robots. It also uses the iRobot's PrevisionVision obstacle avoidance technology, which is more sophisticated than some systems of this type.
iRobot Combo i5

iRobot has built in the ability to recognize household clutter, such as cords, shoes, toys and bags. It will then automatically stop and return to dock for a recharge and finish the cleaning job at a later point. It also supports voice commands with Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant, understanding around 600 voice commands, which is more than any competing 2-in-1 robot.

This means that you can designate no-go zones to prevent it from cleaning those areas in the future. The i3 Plus still has a variety of other fantastic features too like its advanced cleaning system with 10x power-lifting suction and a three-stage process for cleaning. robot mop features a textured exterior to ward off dust, fingerprints and hair of pets.
It removes most dirt and is great on carpets that are not bare, but it did have trouble with pet hair on carpets with low pile. It is a great choice with carpets with a high pile and is quieter than its rivals. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it comes with a self-emptying system that empties the dirtbag, replenishes its water reservoir, and cleans its mop pads.
You can design cleaning schedules using the i3 App. You can also utilize your voice assistant to control your robot to start or stop the cleaning. It can also track your home's unique layout and offer a customized cleaning routine and scheduling. This allows it to vacuum and then clean the carpet with its microfiber cloths, ensuring all surfaces are spot-free. It has a complete set of sensors and navigation abilities which help it avoid obstacles like furniture and cords.
It also has an upgraded battery that will last longer and an auto-emptying mode that cuts down on the frequency of emptying the trash bin. It's a good choice for households that want the convenience of a single robot that can be used in different cleaning modes. It can be controlled with a voice command using Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant-enabled devices. It can be programmed to start and stop at certain dates.
iRobot Combo i4

It's an excellent choice for homes that have high-pile carpets since it is able to handle more dirt and debris than weaker vacuums. The i4 is also less invasive in terms of maintenance requirements, and has lower costs for recurring maintenance and has a longer runtime in its least powerful suction mode than the i7.
