This self-emptying robot with a budget does an okay job on hard floors as well as carpets with low pile. Its combo brush reaches into corners and edges and it automatically increases suction when it detects carpet. It also excels at cleaning dirt embedded in mid-pile carpet. The IQ's tiny footprint for docks and the self-emptying feature are both nice features. If you wish to alter the floor's levels or define no-go areas, you'll need to manually reset the map.
The IQ app comes with advanced mapping and automated functions, however it does not have no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. It also comes with mopping attachments that are able to handle sticky debris. The iRobot, however, is better constructed, has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement and incurs fewer recurring costs, can create virtual no-go zones with its companion application. It is able to continue cleaning from where it left off, even if the battery runs out before it finishes. The iRobot is also controlled by voice commands, which is an advantage for many users.
Eufy 11S
The RoboVac 11S by eufy isn't exactly the most feature-rich robot vacuum available, but it does offer great cleaning power for a low price. It's designed for those who don't require a complex mapping system or app to control the device. This robot can run for a long time and includes the remote, a cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base, and additional filters.
The 11S is slim, sleek, and features a tempered-glass upper deck that appears like the brushed appearance of aluminum. It's a nice departure from the utilitarian and industrial designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.
