The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.
During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the click of one button. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.
The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away when it encounters one.
What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be cleared out regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set path.
The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. home-page can build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. While these features are useful but they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra works with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
