After making a grand debut with Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj, 2017 Miss World Manushi Chhillar is on a signing spree. She is set to star opposite Vicky Kaushal in Yash Raj Films’ The Great Indian Family and has reportedly signed another big ticket movie.
Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Samrat Prithviraj is a period drama about the life of legendary warrior king Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. It stars Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar in the lead roles.

After winning the title of Miss World in 2017, Manushi Chhillar has a number of upcoming movies. She has signed three films with Yash Raj Studios, including Prithviraj and The Great Indian Family.
The model-turned-actress is set to star in a Telugu-Hindi bilingual action drama, titled VT13. The film is a tribute to the Indian Air Force and will be shot simultaneously in the two languages. The movie is written and directed by debutant Shakti Pratap Singh and will release in 2023 worldwide.
As a part of the film, Varun Tej will be seen playing an inspiring IAF Officer who is battling it out with his team in one of the biggest aerial attacks ever to hit India. The movie is said to be based on real-life events and will feature an ensemble cast.
Manushi will be seen alongside Varun Tej in the film. She will also be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal in The Great India Family, which is slated for release later this year.
During her reign as Miss World, Chhillar traveled extensively to different countries. She visited Sri Lanka, the Philippines and France. She also inaugurated the Haryana Film Policy in Gurgaon and met with the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar.
The 'Miss World' winner has also been busy promoting her first Bollywood film, Samrat Prithviraj. She will also be seen in The Great Indian Family with Vicky Kaushal and a film starring John Abraham.
The Great India Family
Manushi Chhillar is one of the most sought after actresses in the industry. After winning the Miss World 2017 pageant, she signed up for a three-film deal with Bollywood Yash Raj Films.
Her upcoming movies include Samrat Prithviraj, The Great Indian Family and another with Ajay Devgn. She has also reportedly signed on for an action comedy to be shot in Europe.
