Academy Student

The first step you need to take to become a ninja is to become an Academy Student in ninja ranks naruto. To become a shinobi, you have to go to the academy and start at the bottom.

Adults don’t go to the academy to become ninjas because most of the people who go there are kids. 

Students in academies are not regarded as shinobi and do not don the village headband. Being a student at an academy is not a qualification, and students at an academy do not get paid.

They are mostly kids who are learning the basics of ninjutsu, taijutsu, lore, and the way a shinobi lives in general.

Genin

The next step to come up in a naruto ninja rank is to become a Genin. There is a test that every student at the academy has to pass to become a genin to attain a higher level in naruto ninja ranks

The test changes how hard it is from time to time. The test back when Naruto was alive was to make shadow clones. In Boruto’s time, things are different.

This three-person team will stay together forever unless one of them dies or asks the village’s Kage to switch teams for a good reason.
