You can then leave it to do a thorough job without having to constantly monitor the state of your floorplan, or manually move obstacles from the robot's way. The TP Link Tapo RV30 plus is a robotic that does mopping and vacuuming, which means it's a one-stop solution to keep your home clean. It has great suction, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. It is self-emptying and can also be used as a security camera.
A less expensive bot that vacuums, mops and can be used as a robot trashcan The Roborock Q Revo is a good choice for homes that don't require the more sophisticated features of more expensive models. For instance, it uses one rubber brush instead of the dual roller brushes of the other which means it won't be as effective at cleaning up larger particles like shoes and socks. During testing the robot, we set the cleaner up in a huge house and were impressed by the speed and efficiency with which it cleaned up floors without becoming bogged down. It is extremely maneuverable and can get to places most standup vacs never go, including couches and under beds. It also has great suction, a massive 500-milliliter dustbin and over two-hour runtime. However, it isn't equipped with the ability to create no-go zones in the app and its object detection is a bit hit-or-miss, meaning we saw it bump into things occasionally during our tests (resulting in a few tipped vase tops).
It's important to keep in mind that despite how smart a robot vacuum might be but it can't replace your upright or canister vacuum. It's not equipped to handle heavily stained carpets, it will not reach into every crevice, and won't be able to reach your ceilings or other difficult to reach spaces. But for keeping your floors clean of pet hair, crumbs, dander and other debris, it can be an excellent addition to your cleaning routine.

It also has a large dust bin that doesn't need to be empty manually, and it's able to recharge and resume cleaning when it's not able to continue cleaning. It's more expensive than the other robotic vacuums we've tried, but it combines powerful suction and easy controls to deliver an excellent value.
Voice Control
Most robot vacuums can be controlled via a physical remote or an app on your smartphone. Some models can also be integrated with smart speakers such as Amazon Echo or Google Home, allowing you to run them using voice commands. This can be helpful when you have children or pets who could hinder your cleaning routine, or if you're too exhausted to control the robot by hand.
