The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.
During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo

If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving along.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could wish for. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang Olufsen product line. This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.
Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features however they can make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.
Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. best robot vacuum for carpet are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
