Losing your car keys or misplacing them can be extremely annoying. It's cheap and easy to replace a car key if there is an additional key.

Saab owners are advised to keep a spare key in the car, because it's easier to replace a stolen or lost one. Claimed-new keys from aftermarket sellers are usually not properly initialized, and will not program correctly when you're in need of them.
It is not unusual to find the battery inside the key fob to wear out after a few years of use, especially when it is used frequently for locking and unlocking the car. Fortunately that replacing the battery in the majority of SAAB 9-3 key fob models is easy and doesn't require any special tools.
