Marvel/Disney Plus Loki Takes the Character to Another Level

Its #GeminiSeason, yall! And for those of you that dont know, one of the deities Gemini is associated with is Loki!

And hes back, and frankly better than ever. What a perfect time for Marvel to unleash the Trickster God upon the world!

The new series on @disneyplus starts off with how Loki was able to escape into time. If you know, you know! If you dont, then watch the show. (See what I did there?)

From that point, the illustrious anti-hero hero (you read that right) learns that the Universe is not as he previously believed it was, which can definitely be kind of a bummer. But, Loki being Loki, this doesnt stop him from trying to best his way out of the situation. To Loki himself out of the situation, if you will.

In the movies, the Asgardian/not Asgardian is typically the villain, with a somewhat hidden heart of gold. In the series, theres a lot of growth for the would-be king/time lord (wait...) over the course of a short timespan. Its interesting to watch Tom Hiddleston as Loki go through the phases (haha) of seeking to understand his predicament.

Theres nothing about this show that isnt likeable. Wunmi Mosaka, Owen Wilson and Eugene Cordero are just a few of the other initial main characters who bring this series together in a rip-roaring adventurous start.

Fans will also get a kick out of Lokis existential crisis, which leads to a somewhat telling beginning at the end (youll see what I mean).
